Meredith A. Webber
Senior Financial Advisor

Meredith joined the Crux Wealth Advisors team at our Cobleskill, NY branch in 2022 as a Senior Financial Advisor. In her role, she regularly meets with clients and prospective clients to guide them through the financial planning process. She approaches each client interaction with intention and prides herself on being an excellent listener and problem solver. Meredith's clients have shared their appreciation for the time and attention she gives each of them personally, leaving them confident that she has their best interests at heart.

Her primary goal is to discover her client's values and help them align their financial futures based on their value system. Meredith provides the necessary guidance, advice, and ongoing support to help clients reach their goals. She believes it's also essential to understand how the economy, investments, and the market will affect a client's decision-making process.

Meredith became interested in finance when she purchased her first stock at 12 years old, with the help of her investment-savvy mother. That same day she told her mother that she wanted to be a Stockbroker and make clients happy. Meredith continues to approach investing with the same enthusiasm she had as a young girl and is even more inspired to know how she can directly impact each client's life.

Before joining our team, Meredith gained extensive knowledge and experience during her 29 years in financial services. She spent 16 years with Ameriprise Financial, where she held the positions of Financial Advisor, Registered Principal, and Regional Risk Manager. As of 2022, she was pursuing her Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy and her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification through The American College of Financial Services.

Meredith A. Webber

I was born and raised in Central Maine in a small mill town with a big heart. Today, I live in a similar town in rural Upstate New York with my husband, John, and our daughters, Vanessa and Ava. Softball is central to my family because we love the sport and play in various leagues. I have coached girls' softball for many years and am an umpire for our local little league.

I like to be an active community member and thoroughly enjoy participating in various organizations. Some organizations I have been involved in include the Adopt-A-Highway litter removal programs as a volunteer and the Schoharie Valley Day Camp as the Day Camp Director for three years. The summer camp is for over 150 children ages 2-14 at almost no cost to the families who send their children to the camp. I was also the President and Treasurer for the Schoharie Valley Women's Softball League.

While we homeschooled our children, I was fortunate to teach the Stock Market Game to the local homeschool co-op for eight years. Additionally, I was a volunteer counselor for the local chapter of AWANA, an organization focused on planting the seeds of faith and building a lasting faith foundation for children and young adults.

I also like to be involved in professional organizations. I was a member of the Franchise Advisory Council, representing 13,000 franchise advisors. My peers elected me as one of 40 members to represent the franchise advisors and lobby for their expressed needs.
