I learned that Gene Smith, Athletic Director for The Ohio State University, asks for the top four values of those candidates he's interviewing. After hearing this, it made me reflect on my values. I narrowed down my own to a solid five that I feel define me both professionally and personally: faith, family, loyalty, passion, and fun. These values have been a theme throughout my life from how my wonderful wife, Trish, and I have raised our son, Matt, to how I enjoy being involved in the community.

One way that I enjoy giving back to our community is through my participation on the Yellow Jacket Committee for the Fiesta Bowl. Our mission is to enhance organizations that contribute to their communities' success through youth, sports, and education. It's an incredibly fulfilling organization to be part of, and we are proud to have given away $4 million in the last year.

In addition to being part of an organization that supports positivity through sports, I also love watching football every chance I get. In no particular order, some of my favorites are the Hawkeyes (especially since I'm originally from Iowa), the Devils, and the Cardinals.
