Eric joined the Crux Wealth Advisors team in 2021 as a Wealth Advisor at our Denver, CO office. He brings more than 25 years of critical experience to our team from his time with Ameriprise Financial as a Managing Director, where he was responsible for financial planning and investment management. Eric graduated from Idaho State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance.
The approach that Eric takes with each interaction is from a place of thoroughness and compassion. He aims to ensure that his clients are confident in their financial plans and, in turn, in their financial future. Therefore, he prioritizes education in his planning process so that his clients fully comprehend the workings of their financial plan.
Eric has a detailed oriented, meticulous style because his client’s best interest remains at the forefront of his mind and he genuinely cares about the professional and personal relationships he has developed throughout his career. He is energized by the financial planning process and works with each client to craft personalized solutions that fit his client’s unique needs and goals. This includes retirement projections, estate planning, tax planning, and insurance planning. He works with his clients throughout the process to formulate, implement, and review their plans while staying abreast of economic data, tax legislation, and world events and remains flexible should any parts of the plan need to be adjusted.
My family is the center of my world! Spending quality time with my wife, Jill, and our daughter, Taylor, is the time I cherish the most. We enjoy being outdoors and will often go camping and biking. When I’m able, I also volunteer as my daughter’s youth basketball coach, which has been so much fun to watch her appreciate sports the same way I did and still do.
When I was in high school and college, the sports I participated in played a big part in shaping me into the person I am today. They taught me the incredible value of teamwork, leadership, dependability, and effective communication – lessons that I’m fortunate to have learned and continue to pass down to my daughter as well as apply to my career and personal life.
