Chris joined Crux Wealth Advisors in 2022 as a Financial Advisor, RJFS. In his role, he provides consistent, personalized service to make sure that our clients have a clear understanding of their financial portfolio. Chris' primary focus is to ensure that our clients receive the highest quality customer service in the industry, which is driven by his passion for helping others achieve their goals.
Chris works with all team members, and in turn, he has a unique understanding of technical business challenges and opportunities. He can take complex material and communicate it to our team and clients, so the information remains consistent and transparent. Chris' attention to detail is meticulous, and he has an unrelenting work ethic. He is devoted to our clients and works tirelessly to research information on their behalf, preparing them to make sound financial decisions.
Before joining our team, Chris began his financial career as an Investment Advisor Representative with Vimvest Financial. Prior to that, Chris was a professional baseball player for the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Miami Marlins between 2011 to 2019. Chris earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Florida International University.
My time outside of work is spent focused on my growing family. I am most proud of being a father and feel incredibly fortunate for the privilege to raise my children alongside my wife, Lora. We are the parents of our beautiful children, Jay (2019), Nia (2020), and Olivia (2021).
Lora works for a nonprofit organization, Better Together, which helps keep children out of the foster care system. The organization empowers families to overcome obstacles and keep families together. Lora not only works for this vital organization, but it's also an essential part of our family. We volunteer as hosts for the children while parents work to overcome a crisis.
I played baseball professionally for nearly ten years and retired in 2019. During my career, I played for six different organizations and played in the Major Leagues with the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Miami Marlins. I was also highly active in the communities where I played. In 2017, I earned the Pittsburgh Pirates AAA community commitment award for volunteering in the Indianapolis community.
One of my favorite things to do is go bowling in my free time. It's an activity I frequently did with my father growing up and brings back many fond memories. I look forward to sharing similar memories with my children.
