Aspen joined Key Wealth Management in 2022, an affiliate office of Crux Wealth Advisors in Scottsdale, AZ, as a Wealth Advisor. As a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), she works diligently each day with our clients and prospective clients through proactive outreach and scheduled meetings. Aspen aims for her clients to get a return on life through a return on their investments and education to make sound financial decisions throughout their lives.
Through a thorough financial planning process, Aspen's ultimate goal is to change her clients' lives, their children's lives, and the lives of their grandchildren by giving them the necessary tools and guidance toward financial security and freedom. She believes that money is not the most crucial piece of a successful life. Instead, Aspen credits overall happiness and health as essential to a fruitful life. Through her honest, authentic, and empathic approach, Aspen guides her clients to reach their goals with a solid financial foundation, allowing them to live a life of value, health, and happiness.
Before becoming a CFP®, Aspen began her career in technology sales. Early in her career, she was introduced to Caitlyn Salloum, Founder and President of Key Wealth Management, who became her Financial Advisor. When she later decided she was ready for a career change, Aspen immediately pursued a career in wealth management. Due to Caitlyn's impact on her own life because of her advice and encouragement to save, she knew that she wanted to help and inspire people just as Caitlyn helped and encouraged her.
Aspen brings critical experience and expertise to our team. She began her career in the wealth management industry as a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones. She also worked at The Vanguard Group as a High Net Work Financial Planner for four years, where she specialized in working with the $1M-5M accounts. Aspen earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and International Business from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
I was born and raised in Arizona and grew up on a bona fide cattle ranch in the Northern part of the state, which was an hour and a half from the nearest grocery store! Today, my husband, Ryan, and I are the proud parents of our son, Braxton. Our son is our whole world, and we love our time together as a family. We want to give Braxton as many new experiences as possible, especially the gift of travel to see and learn from new cultures and places.
When I was growing up, I had a strong work ethic instilled in me from a young age. My mom built a small hotel in our hometown, and I started my first job cleaning rooms when I was only six. My first memory of money was ironing it. True story! Because we lived so far from the nearest town with stores, my job was to count and iron my money. Since then, I have always had a job. I know what it's like to work hard and what hard-earned money means. While I don't recommend ironing your money, I recommend entrusting it to someone who will take care of it the way I will because of the lessons I have learned from a young age.
